CBRNe Sensor Performance
OptiMetrics has developed detailed scientific models for a variety of point and standoff sensor systems in order to better understand and predict the performance of military biological and chemical sensors. CBRNe events are difficult to quantify because the agents are diverse and typically dispersed over large areas. On the battlefield, chemical agents can be detected with a combination of point and standoff (remote) sensors. Biological agents are mainly detected with point sensors.
